Boat Detailing –
Courtesy Detail - Cleaning Interior, hull and drives prior to shipping. Minor cleaning including vacuum, pressure wash and organization is a courtesy service offered by Marine Point with every boat that is processed through our facility.
Complete detail – These services are offered such as wet sand, compound, buff and wax to remove oxidation. Deep hull and bilge cleaning with solvents such as degreasers, bleach, mold and mildew removers, carpet and vinyl cleaning, removing barnacles and algae are also offered. These services start at $10.00 p/Foot.
AQIS Cleaning – Better known as Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS). You can visit the AQIS website by visiting http://www.daff.gov.au/AQIS . This service requires attention to detail. We understand the requirements of this service and also the penalties that you will face if you import a vessel that does not meet these requirements. This service starts at $25.00 p/Foot and is worth every cent when shipping into Australia. Please feel free to learn more on our Shipping to Australia page.
Shrink Wrap – For added protection and making sure valuables are kept safely inside the vessel while in transport. We also include vents, and anti-moisture buckets to help reduce the onset of mold and mildew.
Boat Shipment and Prep -
Towers, Arches and Swim Platforms – We can remove these parts of the vessel safely. We do not just cut wires and leave you "stranded". We provide the proper fittings and label all wiring. We also use chase cables to pull wiring back through the towers or hull. We can even provide a photo library of the process to help with reassembly once you receive your vessel.
Stern Drives and Props – When a stern drive has to be removed we provide the gaskets and o-rings necessary for reassembly so the drive can be re-fitted when you receive your vessel. Props are always removed and placed in a box in the boat to insure the safety of these easily removed items.
Outboard Engines – Sometimes it is necessary for us to remove the outboard engines. We do this with care under the hands of our certified Marine technicians. Custom outboard engine crates are built for each engine removed and they are safely secured to the crate just as if it was shipped from the factory.
