Boat Container Services

This is where we sail by our competition! Please see our Gallery and take a look for yourself. Currently we offer three types of packing services:

  • Straight-Pak - 20' or 40' Standard Container can be used for this service
  • Stack-Pak - Only a 40' High Cube can be used for this service
  • Tilt-Pak - Only a 40' High Cube can be used for this service

We have pioneered many of the techniques used in this form of shipping. From the style of packing to the custom cradles we produce in house. We pride ourselves in what we have been able to accomplish over the years. We have made dreams come true for many of our clients who thought it was just too expensive to ship a boat, until we introduce them to our way of "making anywhere possible".

We start by evaluating the type and size of the boat. Boats with a beam (widest point) of less than 7'8" (2.3m or 92") can be easily placed in the container and securely braced down by using our Straight-Pak method. The trailer axles can be removed as well if they are too wide. When boats are this size, sometimes we can use our Stack-Pak method and load as many as four boats and trailers in a container saving quite a bit of money.

Boats with a beam (widest point) larger than 7'8" (2.3m or 92") and up to 8'6" (2.59m or 102") after careful review, they can be loaded using our Tilt-Pak method. We do not brag about how large of a boat we can stuff into a container. In our minds there is a maximum angle at which the boat can safely placed in the cradle without putting too much stress on the gunwales.

We can ship using 20' Standard containers, 40' Standard or High Cube Containers, and 40' Flat Rack Containers. We will make sure to choose the most economical form of shipping. Sometimes a Flat Rack is a good choice for getting to the "Hard to Reach" places that traditional Ro/Ro of Lo/Lo can't get to.

We are also ISPM-15 certified, making sure all timber products are compliant, stamped, new and free of pests prior to use in your shipment.
